A very handsome boy I know took one look at this jacket and asked me to make a custom backpack for his girlfriend for Christmas. This jacket was given to me by a gentleman who acquired it in the ’60′s. His son has informed me that he was quite the stylish guy in his day, and that he happens to have been a good friend of Johnny Cash. I hope I’ve done him proud by reincarnating his jacket as a backpack. I threw in a few extra internal pockets and a custom laptop pocket in the organic cotton lining. I hope she loves it.

organic cotton lining, adjustable double straps, lotsa pockets.

Robber – 863 Queen St. West, Toronto.
Here you see a few jackets before they were made into bags. Also visible are a few of our friends before they were made famous. On the outer edge of this rad sandwich we’ve got Dave and Brad from Vancouver garage rock band, Indian Wars. The savory centre is filled by Em of the Bad Guts Blog sporting the ‘before’ version of the below Ora Bag, also available in our online store.

We recently went on a photo shoot with Michelle Ford who also took the photos currently displayed on Ora’s collection page. We were lucky enough to have Mel Paget and Patrick Obenauer join us in the woods to model with our bags.
More photos to come later.
