New Online Store!
christy nyiri is awesome
Christy Nyiri is our web designer here at www.orabags.com
We think she’s great! In addition to designing our site, she also helped us with our re-branding, including our new logo and our our lookbook – see below
Christy does all kinds of awesome stuff on and off of the internet, we wonder when she has time to sleep and shop (we’re also envious of her amazing wardrobe). Check out Christy’s new site and peruse some of her awesomeness…

new photo story ‘shade away’ by chester jones
This fall we decided to team up with local photographer Chester Jones to produce a new photo story for Ora. Check out our collections page to see the magic he produced with his old 35mm in his ‘shade away’ photos.
You can check out more of Chester’s magic photography by visiting his site www.mosbueno.com
Here are a few tidbits from his site….
the worship museum
The Worship Museum is an online catalogue comprised of various arts and crafts and other unique gifts designed by a diverse number of individuals. We are proud to be included in this carefully curated catalogue, you can find Ora Bike Bags in the Accessories section of their online store.
The Worship Museum was recently featured on Urban Outfitter’s Blog, check out the post here http://blog.urbanoutfitters.com/blog/the_worship_museum
Here’s a peak at some of the magical things you can find on www.theworshipmuseum.com
Mel Greene + Alpaca Life + Sitka Surfboards
Mel is rad. When she isn’t busy helping me out with everything Ora, she’s doing all kinds of great things as the Director of Communications for local Victoria/Vancouver brand Sitka Surfboards.
And as if all that isn’t proof enough of her radness, she has enough time and creative energy to make her own custom t shirts called The Alpaca Life.
Mel recently did some cut and sew Alpaca Life shirts for Sitka that will be available for Spring/Summer 2011. Here’s a sneak peak, and you should check out her blogs too
The Worship Museum Studio Sale
The Worship Museum is officially launching this weekend. You’ll find tons of vintage and new goods, including Ora Bags.
Better yet, new bag styles! Randi has whipped up some Crystal Pouches to wear around your neck, keep in your pocket, hang somewhere special or do whatever you like with. They’re small and full of good vibes.
Just in time for summer, Randi has come up with some bike bags that fit onto handle bars to carry all your necessities on all your adventures. Or just on your way to work. Either way, very handy.
The Worship Museum is at 369 Powell St. (Corner of Gore and Powell) and will be open from 11-8 on Saturday and from 11-6 on Sunday. See the poster above for more details. Hope to see you there!
