The vintage treasure hunt begins the tale of creation for each Ora bag. Each vintage garment that is destined to become an Ora bag has spoken to Randi in some way; telling stories of it’s past life through the character of its look, the natural way it hangs after years of use and the way it alludes to the stories of its previous owners’ lives. Randi’s true love is fashion. Her weakness for exquisite hand detailing, true quality craftsmanship and her love of garments that tell stories lead her to rescue the most unlikely of leather cast-offs only to reincarnate them as one of a kind luxury bags.
Randi has recently completed the Advanced Textile Arts Certificate Program at Capilano College in North Vancouver. Randi has a Diploma in Fine Arts from TRU in Kamloops, certification in Automotive Upholstery and Industrial Sewing from Kwantlen College, and she graduated from Helen Lefeaux School of Fashion Design in 2007 as the Overall Achievement Golden Bobbin Award Winner.
Ora bags are designed and created in Vancouver, British Columbia.
